Oh yes...The struggle is REAL but the REWARD is GREATER!
TRUE LOVE / Marriage is NOT for the FAINT OF HEART!
Many stupid decisions were made in the infancy stage of our relationship. We were Young, dumb, selfish and immature. We were working out the kinks of becoming one.
What has kept us anchored when we wanted to quit and leave? Trusting God, Prayer and every Prophetic Word that has been Spoken over our #marriage.
We have a covenant and agreement to never: even mention divorce, go to bed angry, withhold intimacy, make life-changing decisions without discussion, not make major purchases without consent of spouse etc.
We agree to: Pray for one another, listen, demonstrate love, always honor, watch our tone, speak the truth in love, keep dreaming, be a team, be supportive, build each other's self esteem, openly communicate etc.
What fuels our fire? Christ-centered life, love, dream building, mission, vision, goals.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
